We are delighted to share an important development within our own company: the official implementation of a four-day working week with no reduction in salary. This change, which we have adopted after a successful six-month trial period in which we tested different organisational formats, marks a new chapter in our commitment to wellbeing, work–life balance and innovation. This journey began six years ago with the introduction of intensive working hours from 8:00 to 15:30, and continued after the pandemic with the implementation of remote working.

During the trial period, we experienced notable improvements in productivity and in the quality of the projects delivered to our clients, a direct result of having a better-rested and more motivated team who now enjoy more time to recharge and find inspiration.

The transition to this new working week has not only enhanced productivity and the quality of our work, but has also strengthened our connection with every member of the team.

We have devoted ourselves passionately to creating a working environment that is not only productive, but genuinely inspiring and enriching. As a result, our team has reported a significant reduction in stress, an increase in their quality of life and greater motivation, all of which is reflected in their day-to-day work. At the same time, as a company we have seen how this wellbeing translates into a more dedicated and personalised service for our clients, raising its overall quality. It also enables us to be more competitive when it comes to attracting and retaining talent, thanks to the reinforced commitment of our employees to our business project and our brand.

After testing different organisational models and assessing their various implications, we have opted to maintain our usual timetable from Monday to Thursday, with Friday as an additional day off. This arrangement allows us to enjoy four working days with the whole team operating in unison, something that is truly essential for the type of projects we carry out.

This new approach has enabled us not only to improve our internal dynamics, culture and organisation, but also to make a positive contribution to society. We are aligning ourselves with global trends towards a better balance between working and personal life, and activating our commitment to personal and social sustainability and the objectives of the 2030 Agenda.

This balance between the demands of the corporate world and employees’ quality of life is fundamental if we are to continue building extraordinary brands, first internally and then for our clients. We hope that our experience may serve as an inspiration for other organisations.
